Zorbas restaurant
is situated at the central harbour of Parga and is one of the biggest and most
noted restaurants in the whole region.
It’s at a
few metres distance from Parga’s pier,
next to the
old Town Hall of Parga and to the statue of Patatoukos,
a hero of the Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire,
who was born in Parga.
It has view to the fortress, the
symbol of Parga
dating from the
period of the Venetian occupation, as well as to the islet
with the small church of
Virgin Mary which situated in the centre of the harbour.
Here,
in the
centre of Parga,
the visitor
can enjoy a
large number of dishes from
the Greek cuisine and
especially from the local cuisine of Parga
made with
pure ingredients
from
the region.
On the
wooden
loft, with
view to the sea and the islet, the visitor
can
taste one of the varieties of fishes accompanied with ouzo.
Tourlou (a dish made with different kinds of vegetables),
mouzaka and
kleftiko (a dish
with meat cooked in a special way),
as well as
everything else served
here are
cooked by Mrs.
Triada with
her experience and knowledge that are carried from generation to generation. Our
sense of tradition, as well as the very carefully chosen local ingredients with
which our dishes are made are our guarantee.
The prices are reasonable and
definitely
good
for
families.
