Hotel in Parga, apartment in Parga, accommodation in Parga, rooms in Parga. This is nothing of the kind. It’s just a special place, created with good taste and love by a warm and humane family. A good suggestion for your stay in Parga.

"At the entrance of beautiful Parga and at just 350m from the centre and 200m from the closest beach (Kryoneri), operate, since 2003, the newly-built apartments to let ZORBAS, which put up the quality in the matter of acommodation. 2 studios of 35 square metres, that accommodate 3 persons; 3 apartments of 55 square metres with mezzanine (split-level apartments) faced with parquet, that accommodate 4 persons; 2 studios of 60 square metres with separate bedroom, that accommodate 4 persons; and 2 apartments with two separate bedrooms, big living-room and big kitchen (a proper house of 85 square metres), that accommodate 7 persons give you the possibility to choose the one that fits you.

ZORBAS apartments are built in a new neighbourhood of Parga, Asagia, where till some time ago there was a big estate with olive trees. So, as you can imagine greenery and peacefulness are in excess here.

All ZORBAS apartments have a fully equipped oaken kitchen, with fridge, cooker hood and a small oven. All of them have air-conditioning, private bathrooms with shower or bath, private coffer, TV receiving satellite channels, nicely separated balconies, adjacent car park, as well as public phone. Furthermore, you have the possibility to use the neighbouring swimming pool and pool bar. We are not going to talk about cleanliness. There is no need. You see, we also live in this place."

We came across this description, when, last year, we started looking for an accommodation in Parga at a tourist guide with hundreds of accommodations from all over Greece. Earlier on, we had searched on the Internet phrases, such as accommodations in Parga, apartments in Parga, rooms in Parga, hotels in Parga, holidays in Parga, pensions in Parga. The results were indeed hundreds, the search was tough, the time we had in our disposal for our holidays was short and the suggestions tempting to such an extent that they made us suspicious. One of the hotels had low prices, the other had car park, one aaccommodation was near the sea, while an apartment had satellite TV and some other hotels promised us tranquillity. There were, of course, accommodations with swimming pool and bar and we also came across some accommodations with coffer. To tell the truth, as time pressed, we chose Zorbas accommodation more at large.

We arrived there by car, prepared to suffer the well-known disappointment that suffer all those who decide to find a room at last minute. And this because, whilst the owner of the hotel, the accommodation or the apartment, has described it to them on the phone as a heaven on earth, they eventually come across the exact opposite. So, we even joked on each other about it confident of the unpleasant surprise we were in for. Only about one thing, though, we were right: the surprise.

Zorbas accommodation was newly-built with a spacious car park for our car and, what’s more, it was built in the olive grove, with the characteristic towering olive trees of Parga. It was at just 10 minutes distance from Pisso Krioneri beach of Parga and at 15 minutes from Mposta Krioneri beach, the central beach of Parga. All rooms had satellite TV, air-conditioning, a small kitchen with fridge and oven, balcony and we also had the possibility to swim at the pool adjoining the accommodation. So you can understand the kind of surprise we are talking about. And when we got in touch with the owners, Nikos and Marina Evaggelou, who were always willing to give us information about Parga, we started to revise our opinion about holidays and the accommodations related to them.
